Location: PRU Setting, Key Stage 3, Barnsley Area
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Term Time Only

About the Role:
As a SEN Tutor working with Academics Agency, you will play a crucial role in supporting Key Stage 3 pupils within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) setting. Your main focus will be on delivering tailored instruction in Maths and English, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and small group support in Maths and English.
* Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to each student's needs.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback.
* Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Requirements:
* Relevant teaching qualification or experience working with SEN students.
* Strong knowledge of Key Stage 3 Maths and English curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a dynamic educational setting.
* DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
