Are you a History ECT who is looking to gain more classroom experience in a variety of secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent?

Or are you an experienced History Teacher who is now considering flexible day-to-day supply?

Academics are now currently looking to expand their current cohort of qualified History Teachers who work in our secondary schools that they are in partnership with in Stoke-on-Trent.

These roles predominantly are daily supply/ and cover, or can even be short term contracts (with the potential of turning into long term contracts).

The ideal secondary History teacher for this supply role would:

* Have a desirable proven track record of working with students in both KS3/KS4.
* Be a confident communicator, an excellent motivator, and can build good rapport with students.
* Hold the relevant teaching history qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with a UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
* Deliver exciting and engaging History lessons using your own initiative and have good knowledge of the national curriculum.
* Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
