Functional Skills Teacher - Northwich - December 2023

Academics Ltd are working with and recruiting for a large Secondary School in Northwich that has a fantastic reputation in the area.
We are seeking to recruit a Functional Skills Teacher to start in January and the role will initially be until the end of the Spring term. This is a full time teaching role. Daily rates will be discussed upon application.
Ideally, you will be an expert in Maths and English and you will be supporting in Speaking, Writing and Reading in English and Basic Maths skills.
The ability to support in ICT would be advantageous but not a necessity.
REQUIREMENTS
* Recent experience in teaching Functional Skills
* Level 3 qualification in the relevant field
* Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications
* Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
* A recognised teaching qualification (eg PGCE, Cert Ed, DTTLS, QTLS)
* Demonstrable experience of teaching learners in the FE sector
* Experience of successfully managing behaviour within a classroom
* A current DBS certificate (we can support with application if required)
