Academics are working with a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Chelsea that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class from September 2025.
Location: Primary School in Chelsea
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £95–£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Provide general classroom support to the Year 3 teacher and pupils
*
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and boost progress
*
Support behaviour management and promote pupil engagement
*
Help supervise during playtimes, lunchtimes, and school trips
Requirements for the Teaching assistant:
*
Experience working in a primary school (desirable but not essential)
*
A proactive and nurturing approach to learning support
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Enthusiasm for working in Year 3 and supporting early KS1 learning
