SEN Teacher – Doncaster

Are you a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher looking for flexible, temporary ongoing work in Doncaster?

Academics are working in partnership with a range of specialist provisions and SEN schools across Doncaster, who are seeking experienced SEN Teachers to support pupils with additional needs on a supply basis. There are also longer-term opportunities available for the right candidates.

Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply (with longer-term opportunities available)
Pay: £160 – £220 per day (paid via PAYE – no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher in Doncaster, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, particularly SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

This SEN Teacher role in Doncaster will involve delivering differentiated lessons, supporting emotional regulation, and creating a positive and structured environment where pupils can succeed.

Working across Doncaster SEN schools, you will have the flexibility of supply while also having access to longer-term opportunities where available.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual needs
• Support pupils with SEMH and ASD within specialist settings
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Create a safe, inclusive and structured classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff and leadership teams
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies

Candidate Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience supporting SEN pupils, particularly SEMH and ASD
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
