Job Title: SEN Science Teacher

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

The School:
This Wednesbury school is dedicated to supporting their learners in their independence, extending the National Curriculum to meet the needs of all their students. All students that are currently enrolled at this school have EHCP plans, and have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC). The pupils also have Moderate Learning Difficulties and/or Speech and Language needs, so having trained in British Sign Language or Makaton would be advantageous to the succesful SEND Teaching Assistant.
As the SEN Science Teacher, you would:
* Be committed in engaging students in pre-planned lessons, but also have the ability to adapt according to the needs of the students.
* Be able to collaborate as part of a team
* Have experience of working with children with complex Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Speech and Language Delay
* Have experience of working across the two key stages in the secondary phase.
