Tom joined Academics in November 2022 to oversee the opening of our Canterbury office and to develop our service to Secondary schools across East Kent sourcing local teachers, cover supervisors, teaching assistants and tutors. Having completed his PGCE, Tom initially started out as an ICT/Computing Teacher before stepping into the world of recruitment. Tom has since spent over 8 years in Education Recruitment, successfully running a branch for another education recruitment agency. Tom is someone who loves building relationships with schools and teaching staff by providing an excellent service when called upon. Tom attended Blackfen Primary School, Eastcote Primary School and Welling School in Welling, Kent.
“I love being part of an organisation who place professionalism and integrity at the top of their agenda! As a company, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional service to both our clients and candidates. We understand that one size doesn’t fit all, so will take the time to listen to both parties requirements to ensure we can get the best match available. We have found with this approach, an open and honest relationship is built which will then cement Academics in being the agency of choice for both parties.”
