Meet the Primary Teaching Agency Team in London and the Home Counties

Elizabeth Barker-Green

Liz joined Academics in March 2012 and is now the Regional Manager for our London, Essex and Berkhamsted branches.  She also recruits education staff for our Primary schools in central and South West London.

Liz has three children and has experienced first-hand, the fantastic education provided by our Primary schools here in London. Her aim is to provide teachers and education staff that are passionate, enthusiastic and ready to put in the hard work to ensure children get the best start possible to their education.

Working with a range of amazing Primary schools that provide high quality CPD and mentorship. Liz secures roles for teachers and teaching assistants who are newly qualified, as well as those who are moving up in their careers, looking for more responsibility or are ready for next steps into middle management and senior leadership.

When she is not working, Liz likes catching up with friends and family, cooking, reading, Yoga and taking her dog Hero out for walks.

Yasmin Boffa

Yasmin is a Principal Consultant on the Primary Team and works with primary schools in East London. Yasmin joined Academics in April 2016 as Resourcer and Compliance Administrator which gave her an excellent rounded knowledge of what to look for in suitable teachers, senior leaders and support staff. Yasmin progressed to a consultant in October 2017 and has since looked after schools in Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Havering & Essex. Being originally from East London, and ‘Awesomestow’ as she likes to refer to it as, Yasmin thoroughly enjoys finding suitable staff for local schools so that she can give back to the community in which she grew up in. Prior to joining Academics, Yasmin worked for the London Borough of Waltham Forest as a qualified Careers Adviser, working with Secondary Schools, Colleges and Job Centres. Yasmin is a huge family girl at heart and enjoys walking her dogs Woody, Buzz and Dolly. Despite being a young adult, Yasmin is often described by her team as being ‘an old head on young shoulders’ and it wouldn’t surprise us if she is a secret knitting fan sat on her rocking chair on the weekends!

Tobi Ani

Tobi is a Senior Primary Consultant at Academics, covering the Northwest region of London. He specialises in recruiting high-quality teachers and support staff across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on a day-to-day, long-term and permanent basis. He takes a relationship-led approach, working closely with school leaders to understand their priorities and deliver reliable, well-matched staffing solutions. With a strong focus on quality, responsiveness and continuity, he is passionate about helping schools secure the right people to achieve positive outcomes for pupils.

Adam Kothia

Adam is a Resourcer at Academics London, covering Primary schools across South West London. He specialises in sourcing and placing high-quality teachers and support staff across the primary sector, supporting schools with day-to-day supply, long-term cover, and permanent appointments. Adam works closely with both candidates and schools to ensure the right fit, providing reliable staffing solutions and helping to maintain continuity and high standards of education in the classroom.

Neil Mehta

Neil is a former primary and secondary school teacher, who moved into education recruitment after starting his career as a Resourcer. He is now a Primary Consultant supporting schools across East London. Drawing on his classroom experience, he works closely with schools to provide high quality staffing solutions, from Teaching Assistants and LSAs to qualified teachers and back office staff, ensuring pupils’ needs are met through strong, reliable education professionals.

Outside of work, Neil is a passionate football fan, and a proud Manchester United supporter.
