Abi Ralph has been committed to her role in providing the highest quality service to both candidates and schools since joining the company in 2016. After specialising in supporting South-West London schools for 4 years, Abi moved internally to lead the launch of the Berkshire office and establish Academics across the M4 corridor. She has a particular specialism in supporting Primary Mainstream Schools as well as SEN settings including local PRUs, ASD units and SEMH schools in Berkshire. Abi values honesty and integrity above all and uses this to build trusting relationships with both her client schools and the teachers and TA’s she supports. Outside of work, she spends her time training in the gym and planning her next holiday!

Joseph joined Academics Reading after working in education himself for two years and training to be an English Teacher. Joseph has experienced first-hand the difference that excellent educators can make in the classroom. Since joining Academics as a resourcer, Joseph has been focusing on working with both mainstream and SEN teaching assistants, and is excited to expand his role in the company.
Outside of the office, Joseph is a passionate Welsh rugby fan with a penchant for breaking out into Tom Jones whenever the need arises.

Having grown up in Berkshire Cameron’s ambition is to give back to the schools within the region and thanks to his personal connection, is always willing the extra mile at all time. Cameron understands the impact schools have within the community and is passionate about all students being provided with resources to enable them to reach their potential. He prides himself on his ability of understanding the needs of all schools and goes above and beyond to ensure only candidates of the highest calibre are put forward. Specialising in early year’s education and the primary sector Cameron works closely with his clients when it comes to class teachers and teaching assistants.
You could say Cameron’s resilience has been built from years of hardship he’s gone through by supporting England and Crystal Palace.

Emma joined the Academics team after 7 years working as a teacher for deaf children and is now specialising in SEN recruitment, a sector of Education that she remains very passionate about. Emma is fluent in British Sign Language and likes to put her teacher hat back on every now and then by teaching the rest of the office some signs. She is a big advocate for the deaf community as she writes blog posts about being a hearing person in the deaf community. Emma is a Loyal Royal since moving to Reading and goes to many Reading FC football games. When she gets some spare time, Emma likes to bake cakes and bread (which all end in disaster) and go on cruises!

Dan joined Academics Reading after working in the sports education industry himself for 14 years. Dan has experienced first-hand the difference that excellent educators can make in the both in classroom and on the sports field as well as the day to day practices within a school setting. Since joining Academics as a Resourcer, Dan has been focusing on working with Primary & Secondary school teachers as well as mainstream and SEN teaching assistants. Dan is excited to expand his role in the company. Outside of the office, Dan is kept busy by his 2 energetic sons and has a passion for football and sport in general.

Sam joined Academics after working in education himself as a Primary School Teacher. Sam specialised in Year One and Two, were he found the development of his class extremely rewarding. Sam supported numerous children with SEND, and learned how to effectively support them academically and emotionally. Since joining Academics as a Resourcer, Sam has been focusing on Mainstream Teachers and Teaching Assistants. Sam is now the Mainstream Primary Consultant for Oxfordshire and enjoys finding high quality candidates for schools. He is excited to bring outstanding staff into schools and develop throughout the company.
You could say Sam’s positivity has been built from supporting Liverpool and their recent success. Although, just like his colleague Cameron he is humbled by supporting England.
