Alison Leaworthy Alison Leaworthy

Alison has 20 years experience in Education Recruitment. She began work in the Wetherby area in 2000 and has worked across most of West and North Yorkshire.

Being Wakefield born and bred, Alison knows the area very well so when the opportunity to work with local schools arose she jumped at it.

Alison has managed the Catholic Diocesan Supply Service for the last 10 years and has therefore had a local presence with Catholic schools for a long time but is keen to provide the same service to all other Wakefield Schools.

Alison has 2 children who attend Wakefield schools, 1 Primary and 1 Secondary, as a parent it is important to know that Supply teachers are teaching the children and not just ’babysitting’, their learning shouldn't be interrupted just because the class-teacher isn’t available for a short period.

In her spare time, Alison is either driving the children to parties and dance classes or at the side of the Rugby pitch watching her son play in his Rugby League team.
