Meet the SEN Agency Team in London and the Home Counties
The Academics SEN team in London supports all SEN specialist schools, units and additional resource bases. We also support specialist SEMH settings, Alternative provisions, Pupil referral units, medical tuition services and the Virtual schools for children looked after throughout London and the Home Counties with their ongoing requirements for long term and short term specialist teaching and Support Staff and their permanent recruitment needs.
Jane Crowley
Jane is a former PE Teacher turned SEN Recruitment Specialist, having spent 10 years in the industry! Jane loves her sports and is intrigued by the therapeutic uses sport can have for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Issues, or students with Physical Disabilities. Jane is a keen cyclist.
Sugesh Pradeepakumar
Sugesh joined Academics in August 2024 already offering experience working throughout the education sector. Sugesh supplies SEN schools in West London with education staff, assisting schools recruit in all OFSTED categories, from inadequate right through to outstanding, helping them achieve their goals.
Sugesh always strives to deliver the best quality of candidates ensuring that he is listening to the Senior Leadership Teams’ needs in order to offer suitable candidates that will fit into the school.
Sugesh’s aim is to provide teachers and education staff that are passionate, enthusiastic and committed to providing those children with additional needs the best support possible, to ensure they get the best start possible to their education.
Rafay Shahid
Rafay joined the Academics London SEN team as a leading Resourcer. He is now an SEN Consultant assisting schools across East London. His expertise lies in providing staffing for a variety of Complex Physical and Learning needs, and he prides himself on delivering a transparent and efficient service tailored to the needs of every individual SEN school.
Outside of work, Rafay loves going to the gym and watching old films.
