This a 3 Form Entry Primary School located in the heart of Epping Forest, Essex where there is a real community and family feel. The Head Teacher is friendly and supportive and this has an impact on staff as turnover is low.
Due to an internal promotion of the current KS1 Leader, the Head Teacher of the primary school is currently seeking a new KS1 Leader for September 2024. You will need to be able to demonstrate exemplary teaching practice in KS1 and be ready to lead, inspire and support staff in KS1. You must be able to promote successful teamwork and above all be friendly and fun.
This Epping Forest school has recently been rated ‘OUTSTANDING’ by OFSTED and the Head Teacher is seeking a KS1 leader who is passionate and enthusiastic.
The ideal candidate for this KS1 Phase Leader role will have:
* Evidence of continuing and recent professional development
* Proven ability to make a positive impact in leading a subject or area beyond own class and successfully developing staff through leading professional development
* Proven record of raising standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
* Experience of promoting positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
* Experience of promoting highly effective communications within and between teams and other stakeholders in the school community
* A passion for teaching and investing in the development of the profession
* Fantastic resilience with a real ‘can do attitude’
