Maths Teacher

Fantastic Secondary school in Islington with the OFSTED rating of Good who are actively seeking a Maths Teacher to join their dynamic team immediately.

The successful applicant will be expected to lead inspirational lessons to all pupils and effectively manage a classroom.

The incoming Maths Teachers will be expected to deliver dynamic lessons that stretch their classes and encourage a passion for the subject. The school requires the ideal candidate to have experience of teaching Maths at secondary school level. Experience of teaching Maths to an equivalent GCSE level in another country will be taken into consideration.

You must:

* Hold QTS
* Have experience delivering Maths across the full age, gender and ability range, in a secondary school
* Have a proven background of developing teaching and learning within a Maths Department to a high standard

The role of a Maths Teacher:

Designing and delivering engaging and creative Maths lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of the students

Providing continuous support and guidance to help students achieve their full potential in Maths

Monitoring and assessing student progress, and tailoring your teaching methods to maximises learning outcomes

Collaborating with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment within the Secondary School

What you will need:

Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and a passion for passing your knowledge on in a creative and mind grabbing manner

The ability to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Possess strong communication and organisational skills
