Role Overview: As a History Teacher at this school, you will have the opportunity to engage and inspire students in the captivating world of history. You will primarily be teaching Key Stage 3, guiding students through fascinating historical events, periods, and concepts.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive history lessons tailored to Key Stage 3 curriculum
* Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through historical inquiry and exploration
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic growth and personal development
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history
* Experience teaching history at Key Stage 3 level preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom
