Are you an experienced School Business Manager looking for an exciting opportunity? We have a fantastic position available for a 9-month fixed term cover based at a school in Tower Hamlets, London.

Role Overview: As the School Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the school's administrative and financial functions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing budgets, managing resources, HR administration, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the school's finances, including budget planning, monitoring, and reporting.
* Oversee procurement processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
* Handle HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, and staff development.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and school policies.
* Coordinate administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the school.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a School Business Manager or similar role.
* Strong financial management skills and familiarity with budgeting processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in IT, including MS Office and financial management software.
* Knowledge of education sector regulations and policies is desirable.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Location: Tower Hamlets, London
Duration: 9 months
Salary: Based on past experience, paid to Inner London scales
Hours: Full-time, including 2 weeks over the school summer holidays
