I am currently working with a diverse primary school in the North Leeds area who have a requirement for a year 6 teacher to commence after Easter. This Year 6 teacher position is for 2 terms at least with a possible contract for the right person at Christmas. This is a large 2 form school with children from various backgrounds and any experience teaching EAL and SEND pupils would be beneficial.
This is a full time year 6 teacher role for someone who wants to narrow the attainment gap and see these year 6 pupils progress. Due to the time of year this year 6 teacher must have SATs experience.
You must have excellent knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum and should be able to demonstrate a proven success teaching this year group. The ability to plan and deliver fun and engaging lessons is a must. The school require their new year 6 teacher to become fully immersed in school life and become an integral part of the team.
