* Location: Redbridge
* Start Date: September 2024
* Salary: £34,514 to £46,001 (In line with your current pay scale)

Computer Science Teacher

Responsibilities:

* Develop and deliver dynamic computer science lessons, ensuring they align with the curriculum standards and educational goals of the school
* Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to students of diverse abilities and learning styles
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective learning
* Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal growth
* Use innovative teaching techniques, including digital resources, to enhance student understanding and engagement
* Collaborate with fellow teachers and the computer science department to develop curriculum materials and assessments
* Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of computer science and share this knowledge with students and colleagues

Requirements:

* Must be based in the UK
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (relevant teaching qualifications are advantageous)
* Proven experience teaching computer science at secondary and A-levels, preferably in a private school setting in Redbridge
* Experience as a Computer Science Teacher
* Deep understanding of computer science concepts and programming languages in Redbridge
* Familiarity with curriculum frameworks, such as GCSE, A-level, or IB Computer Science in Redbridge
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues in Redbridge
* Passion for education and a genuine desire to support students' academic and personal development in Redbridge
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in Redbridge
