This is a SEN Teaching Assistant based in a specialist provision school in Stevenage, supporting Autistic Children, who require low support and have well to high, cognitive abilities – a large part of the role is Restorative.

This Special Education Needs LSA (Learning Support Assistant) opportunity, is ideal if you aspire to have a career focussed on Counselling, Men Health, Wellbeing, Criminal, Social or Youth Justice, or looking at elements of social care for example.

Salary Scale: £425-450 per week

Contract type: Long Term Contract- Permanent contract after an initial trial period to ensure the role and the school is right for you

This school offers a restorative, therapeutic approach to education and behaviour management, they want their children engaged in key and personal skills, giving the children skills they can use in and out of school.

As a learning support assistant, you will be working in classes of 3-6 pupils with a staff to student ratio of 1:1
