Academics Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school located in Worcester for an experienced teaching assistant to join the school team on a full time basis, working Monday – Friday on a long term basis through to the end of the academic year. The position has become available as the current teaching assistant in post will be relocating outside of Worcestershire
The successful teaching assistant for this position will be welcome to apply for a permanent position at the end of the academic year to begin in September 2025
The school are looking for a patient, caring, creative teaching assistant that has the experience and passion in working alongside the teacher and ensuring the children in the key stage 1 classes have the full support from you to meet their age appropriate learning levels and that you are working together with the schools and parents goal to narrow the gap in the schools children’s education. This is a general teaching assistant role and you will be supporting different classes within key stage 1 over the week.
The two form entry primary school have a supportive andopen head teacher/SLT that have a great reputation in the local area and having been an oversubscribed school for many years
If you feel you have the ability to create an encouraging learning environment, can confidently deliver strategies and are open to learning new ways to deal with classroom behaviour, are able to respond calmly and constructive when dealing with children and have previous experience working as a teaching assistant Academics would like to hear from you to discuss the great opportunity
