Teacher of English Required for a Long Term Role Starting March 2024

Salary: Competitive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English to join our dynamic team at one of our client schools located in the heart of Hull. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to deliver high-quality English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering a love for literature and language.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
* Differentiate teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
* Provide support and guidance to lower ability pupils, creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
* Foster a love for literature, language, and effective communication skills.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources, ensuring a consistent and high standard of teaching.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students, particularly those with lower ability.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Dedication to the academic and personal development of students.
* Commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
