Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Chelmsford, Essex

Academics are working with a fantastic 2-form entry school in CHelmsford, Essex. This is a long-term role until July 2024, commencing in April. Permanency and teacher training options will be available from August 2024.

Key responsibilities within the role:

* Attend to pupils’ personal needs, and implement related personal programmes (must be comfortable taking both girls and boys to the toilet)
* Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
* Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
* Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress
* Ensure that every pupil is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported to participate and contribute to
