A Phenomenal Brent based Secondary School are looking for a passionate Psychology and Sociology Teacher (qualified) to join them in April!

We are looking for a qualified Teacher who has a passion for teaching Sociology and looking to expand their experience. This long term position starts from April until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to go permanent. Are you ambitious and looking for a new opportunity?

Main Duties

* Teach a class of pupils, ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning, speech and language and social needs;
* Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom;
* Provide timely and accurate reports to all stakeholders including SLT, parent/carers and Local Authority caseworkers;
* Provide accurate assessments of learning and progress and matched against aspirational and appropriate targets;
* Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom and to promote independence and the love of learning.
* To deliver high quality, bespoke learning to small groups of GCSE students at Key Stage 4
* To develop students learning skills to enable them to apply their knowledge across each subject
* To support with the development of resources for students at Key Stage 3 to develop their awareness of Psychology
* To undertake the role of form tutor.
