With small class sizes of just 4 to 6 pupils, they ensure that each student receives the attention they need to excel. They believe in hands-on learning and practical experiences to enhance their comprehensive food technology curriculum.

Job Role:

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and captivate their students. You will take them on a culinary journey, teaching them the art of cooking, nutrition, food safety and exploring international cuisines. As part of our close-knit team, you will also collaborate with other teachers to integrate food technology into cross-curricular activities.

Requirements:

- Passionate about food and cooking, with a solid understanding of culinary principles and techniques.

- Relevant teaching experience or a strong background in the food industry.

- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

A teaching qualification (such as a PGCE or QTS) is desirable but not essential. Practical experience in food technology, culinary arts, or a related field will also be considered.
