Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Secondary SEN School

Location: Bromley, London

Job Description: I am seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly in Autism and Speech and Language Difficulties. This role requires someone who is compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN, focusing on their individual needs and learning goals.
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
* Supporting students with their social, emotional, and academic development both inside and outside the classroom.
* Collaborating effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
* Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment at all times.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with individuals with Autism and/or Speech and Language Difficulties is essential.
* Experience within a secondary school setting is preferred.
* A genuine passion for working with SEN students and making a positive difference in their lives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to commit to a long-term role and contribute positively to our school community.
* Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or SEN support are desirable.
