The school caters for children and young people aged 2 to 18 with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. The school is seeking a full time Child Support Worker to start as soon as possible to contribute in providing the best care to their pupils.
As a Child Support Worker, your roles and responsibilities will be:
* To provide 1:1 support to the pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* To support with behavior management as and when required.
* To assist the class teacher in running exciting lessons and stimulating activities to aid the pupils’ sensory skills.
* To support pupils with personal care when needed.
* To support the children in accordance to their care plan and ensure their needs and requirements are met.
To be a Child Support Worker at this school, it is required that you have experience supporting children or adults with autism and Learning Disabilities to demonstrate your knowledge of how to support vulnerable young people.
