Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Small Heath
Full/Part-time: Full-time (indefinite - No specified end date)
Duration: Immediate start, rolling into the new academic year
We are on the hunt for an Experienced Secondary Teacher to teach Geography to KS3 + KS4, at a school in Small Heath.
This all through school is OFSTED rated 'Good', with many students staying on from Primary staying on to the Secondary phase. The school creates purposeful learning environments, so that students foster a passion for learning in their own ways. The school offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities offering leadership and team building opportunities.
Your responsibilities as the new Geography Teacher would include:-
* Helping ensure a smooth transition for Year 6 pupils into their secondary phase, giving you the ability to create an environment where students feel comfortable and safe
* Maintaining records, assessments etc. for individual students, in line with the procedure of the school, to ensure academic progression
* Plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum to Key stage 3 + 4 students, preparing GCSE students for post-16 compulsory education.
* Ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed and and concerns are reported in a timely manner.

Requirements for the appointed Geography Teacher:
