An OUTSTANDING SEMH school in Chester is looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their passionate and dedicated team to help support students with SEMH.

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will:

* Provide one-on-one and group support to students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can flourish academically and emotionally.
* Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning and promoting positive behavior.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop personalised learning strategies.
* Implement effective interventions and support plans tailored to meet individual needs.
* Encourage independence, self-esteem, and resilience in students through engaging activities.
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers, helping to evaluate and adapt teaching approaches.
