As a Teaching Assistant you play a crucial role in supporting both teachers and students in their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with teachers to implement lesson plans and activities.
* Providing individualized support to students with diverse learning needs.
* Assisting in classroom management, including behaviour and discipline.
* Supporting students in completing assignments and understanding lesson concepts.
* Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Your typical day as a Teaching Assistant will involve:
* Morning preparation, including reviewing lesson plans and setting up classrooms.
* Classroom support, assisting teachers and working with students during lessons.
* Providing individualized assistance to students, particularly those with special educational needs.
* Collaborating with teachers to assess and grade assignments.
* Participating in meetings, professional development sessions, and maintaining effective communication with the school community.
Qualifications required to become a Teaching Assistant:
* A genuine passion for working with students and helping them succeed.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
* You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
* You will have GCSE grades of A*-C in Math’s and English ( or equivalent )
