Sociology Teacher – Canterbury

Academics are working alongside a brilliant school in Canterbury that are looking for a Sociology Teacher who is experienced in teaching Sociology and ideally (not essential) can teach another Social Science (Criminology or Psychology). The ideal Sociology Teacher is able to:

* Develop engaging lessons that cater to the differing abilities and preferred learning styles of the students, but also enables them to feel challenged in way more generic subjects cannot.
* Spark curiosity and critical thinking by exploring social, cultural, economic, and political phenomena.
* Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to participate actively in their learning.
* Mentor and guide students as they develop essential skills such as research, analysis, communication, and empathy.
