One of Academics best Secondary School clients based in Calderdale are looking to employ a Long Term, History Teacher. This role will begin in September and run on a term by term basis. The candidate who is lucky enough to be successful in this process will join a supportive team that has clear goals and a highly successful track record. The candidate will also be supported by a collective that fully embrace the challenges that occur every day in Secondary Education, and will help with any obstacles that may appear.
OFSTED reported that the school provides a strong, vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Pupils are eager to compliment the school and that they burst with pride when they talk about their school. Pupils told inspectors about the opportunities they get to develop their confidence and resilience, in supportive environments.
The ideal History Teacher candidate will be passionate, and able to deliver high quality lessons for a multitude of lessons for the entire duration of the contract.
Role Requirements:
* History - Subject specialism
* Fixed term contact (Start date ASAP)
* 5 days per week
* All levels of experience welcomed to apply
* Experience in KS3, KS4 & KS5 (KS3 & KS4 will be the main focus)
* Commutable distance to Calderdale
This position will run on a half term by half term basis with the History Teacher contract being extended depending on the schools requirements. However, depending on the candidates’ success this could potentially lead to more long term opportunities.
