Academics are supporting a fantastic SEN college based in Camberwell, Southwark, to find a post 16 SEN Lecturer for the new academic year. The college are looking for a teacher who is experienced and confident supporting post 16 students with a range of complex learning difficulties and special needs.
The college itself has industry leading facilities to best support the students that it caters for. There is a genuinely warm and caring environment and staff who work there feel valued and supported in their roles.
The Candidate – Post 16 SEN Teacher - Southwark
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or another relevant teaching qualification
* Previous experience of teaching students with Special educational needs
* Aware of the procedure with regards to safeguarding in a school environment
* Able to tailor lessons based on each child’s individual needs
About the Role - Post 16 SEN Teacher - Southwark
* You will be responsible for teaching a small class of around 6-12 students with special educational needs (Autism, Complex Needs)
* You will use resources to help each student understand and engage in lessons.
* You will have additional support in the classroom from other support staff.
* You will plan and deliver effective lessons using the UK curriculum.
