Academics is working with a fantastic mainstream primary schoool in Kensington and Chelsea who are seeking an SEN Teacher to join their SEN provision. You will be teaching a small group of pupils across KS1 and KS2, with Special Educational Needs such as Developmental Language Disorder and Speech and Language Communication Needs.
These environments are extremely rewarding and motivating places to work as you see the difference that you are making in vulnerable students lives. While there is likely to be some challenging behaviour, you will be supported by a longstanding senior leadership team and learning support assistants in class.

The Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Previous experience of working with pupils with speech and language needs
* Have experience of teaching and learning in the primary age
* Knowledgeable of the UK curriculum
* Aware of the procedure with regards to safeguarding in a school environment
* Able to tailor lessons based on each child’s individual needs
About the role:
* You will be responsible for teaching a small class of around 6-12 students with special educational needs
* You will use resources to help each student understand and engage in lessons.
* You will have additional support in the classroom from other support staff.
* You will plan and deliver effective lessons using the UK curriculum.
