A mainstream primary school in Slough, catering to pupils with a variety of mild additional needs such as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism (ASD), and behavioural difficulties (EBD), is in search of a dedicated Learning Mentor to join their team. This role involves providing one-on-one support to a specific student.
Experience working with SEN children and a solid understanding of SEN are crucial for this role, and familiarity with managing challenging behaviour is advantageous. Previous relevant experience could include working in SEN 1:1 settings, assisting in an SEN nursery, participating in sports settings, or working in similar SEN classroom environments.

You'll have the opportunity to build a positive and trusting relationship with your assigned pupil, as well as receive support and training from the school's leadership team.
