Are you an experienced Teacher of English?

Are you looking for a new role after the Easter break?

Academics currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Teacher of English to be based at one of their partnership secondary schools in Newcastle-under-Lyme (Staffordshire).

This particular school is ‘at the heart of the catholic community and they allow all to be active in the development of their own student’s spiritual, moral, and personal character.

The Role

* Start date is Monday 8th April 2024.
* Full Time.
* Work is guaranteed until Friday 24th May 2024.

Role Requirements

* Hold the relevant English qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).

* Be a confident communicator, an excellent motivator, and can build good rapport with students and fellow staff.

* Deliver exciting and engaging English lessons to both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 learners.

* Using your own initiative and have excellent knowledge of the national curriculum.

* Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).

* Have strong behaviour management.
