Are you looking for a rewarding and dynamic role working with children in Key Stages 1 + 2? Do you have experience in Nursery or Key Stage 1 + 2 settings and a burning desire to nurture young minds through the power of play?

We're partnering with a thriving all-through school in Aston, Birmingham, seeking a dedicated Play Leader to join their vibrant team. What you'll do as the Play Leader:

* Use age-appropriate resources to design engaging play experiences that challenge and inspire children.
* Be a champion for safeguarding, vigilantly reporting any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
* Embrace the school's policies and procedures, integrating them into your daily practice.
* Partner with the Play Coordinator by providing constructive feedback and reports.
* Actively participate in all required training and meetings.
* Develop positive relationships with all students, prioritising their needs in every interaction.
* Spark a love of play by initiating fun and educational activities, engaging with children when appropriate.
* Develop and deliver play activities tailored to individual needs, reflecting the principles of the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Work with the SENCo on adaptations of activities and meeting the targets of EHCP plans for students with SEND needs.

What you, as the successful Play Leader, will bring:

* Proof of experience in childcare or early education through professional references.
* Deep understanding of safeguarding procedures and reporting concerns.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiasm for engaging with children of all ages in a positive and constructive way.
