Teaching Assistant – Haywards Heath – May 2024

We're on the lookout for a warm-hearted and dedicated individual to join our team as a Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. If you have a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs, then this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

* Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with special education needs.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
* Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere that promotes the social and emotional development of all students.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
* Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and a holistic approach to student development

Requirements needed to become a Teaching Assistant:

* Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
* You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
* You will have GCSE grades of A*-C in Maths and English ( or equivalent )
* A compassionate and patient demeanour.
* A commitment to promoting an inclusive learning environment.
* Driving License for this role is a MUST due to the schools rural location.
