EAL/TEFL Teacher – Private School in East Kent

Academics have been approached by a private school in East Kent to support them in sourcing an EAL/TEFL Teacher to start 12th April 2024. This school provides a challenging and supportive learning environment for students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver effective and engaging EAL lessons to students at all levels
* Develop resources and materials to support students' language learning and development
* Assess students' language proficiency and track their progress over time
* Provide support and guidance to students to facilitate their integration into the school community
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

* At least a Bachelor's degree in English, TESOL, EAL or related field
* Relevant teaching experience in EAL, preferably in a multicultural environment
* Knowledge of current teaching methodology and techniques for EAL instruction
* Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively in a team
* Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning
