Are you a qualified and enthusiastic PE Teacher seeking flexibility and variety in your work week?

Or are you looking for long term PE Teacher roles?

Academics is a leading education agency and we’re looking for a talented and dedicated PE Teacher to work within our client secondary schools across Chester for both short-term day to day supply roles and longer term opportunities.

Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to a range of age groups
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of students
* Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with different abilities ensuring each individual is challenged and supported to reach their full potential
* Collaborating with other members of staff to plan and deliver successful PE lessons that align with the national curriculum standards

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience of teaching PE up to GCSE
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
* To be able to engage and motivate pupils
* Good classroom management skills
* An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (cost applied)
