Academics are working with a secondary school in Chester who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher for a full-time role starting in April. This position offers an opportunity for you to inspire and educate pupils in Maths across KS3 and GCSE. Initially until July but this is very likely to be extended into September. This client school is renowned for excellent academic standards and offers a supportive environment for pupils and staff.
As a full-time Maths Teacher you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students aged 11-16 whilst implementing a diverse range of teaching methods whilst motivating students to reach their full potential. You will work closely with the Maths department, collaborating on curriculum planning, assessments and extra-curricular activities. The successful Maths Teacher will join a team of passionate educators dedicated to providing the highest quality education to their students.
To work as a Maths Teacher through Academics, you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
* Strong subject knowledge
* Excellent classroom management skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
* An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to get one (cost applied)
