About the Role:
As a Music Teacher at our secondary school in Doncaster, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic music lessons to students aged 11-16. You will have the opportunity to nurture students' musical talents and foster their love for music through a range of teaching techniques and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in music.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
* Proven experience teaching music at secondary school level.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for music.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
* Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.
Contract Details:
Contract duration: April-July 2024 (Summer Term)
Full-time position via Academics agency.
Competitive weekly pay rate: £765-£1055 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
