Graduate TA
Are you a recent Graduate interested in making a more meaningful impact within the industry by teaching Children with special needs?
As a Graduate TA you will play a pivotal role in supporting children with a variety of needs, working closely with students, with a team of dedicated professionals encouraging progression to create a supportive and engaging environment for students. As a graduate TA you will be dedicated to the development of your personal and the academic growth of students.
Your responsibilities as a Graduate TA.
* Engage in lessons with SEND students.
* Nurture a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages mental wellbeing and academic progression.
* Utilise assessments effectively to monitor students' progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with other members of the school community, including SENCOs, support staff, and parents/guardians, to create a support system for students.
* Implement behaviour management strategies and techniques to address challenging behaviours highlighting positive reward systems.
* Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour, and provide reports as required.
* A passion for developing within the world of teaching assistant.
Requirements of a Graduate TA:
* A passion to teach and nurture SEND need children.
* Knowledge of effective SEN teaching strategies and interventions.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and open to new opportunities.
