Position Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing individualized support and assistance to students with diverse learning needs. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported. Key responsibilities include:

* Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, both in the classroom and during structured activities
* Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized learning strategies
* Supporting students with literacy, numeracy, or social skills development, tailoring activities to meet their individual needs
* Promoting inclusion and positive peer interactions, fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance among all students
* Collaborating with teachers to adapt lesson materials and activities to suit the needs of individual students

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable but not essential
* Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) would be advantageous
* Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond effectively to the evolving needs of students and the school community
