HLTA
Do you have a passion for supporting the academic growth of students?
You will be responsible for delivering lessons to students at an array of ability’s and year groups throughout KS3 and KS4. The successful HLTA will have a strong foundation in basic subject knowledge of the UK curriculum, excellent communications skills at an array of ages including students and a commitment to nurturing a positive environment for learning.
Your responsibilities as a HLTA:
* Develop teaching strategies to accommodate students of a varied ability and learning styles.
* Nurture a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages mental wellbeing and academic progression.
* Implement behaviour management strategies and techniques to address challenging behaviours highlighting positive reward systems.
* Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour, and provide reports as required.
* Maintain strong behavioural strategies developed from HLTA work.
Requirements as HLTA:
* Basic knowledge of the UK curriculum for secondary education.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Hold a BA (Hons) degree
* Have a current and updated DBS that’s on the update system.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Have strong behavioural strategies.
