Position Overview: As a Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to provide essential support to students and facilitate the smooth running of classroom activities. From assisting with lesson preparation to providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs, you will play a pivotal role in promoting engagement, inclusion, and achievement for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Provide one-on-one support to students with additional needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an additional language (EAL).
* Assist with classroom management and behavior support, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment for all students.
* Prepare and organize teaching materials, resources, and equipment for lessons and activities.
* Help students to develop essential skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social interaction through targeted interventions and activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress, identify areas for development, and implement appropriate support strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Previous experience working in a classroom environment or with children and young people is advantageous but not essential.
* A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting student learning and development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
* A willingness to learn and engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
