Academics is a supply teaching agency based in Ellesmere Port and we work with secondary schools across the Wirral.

We’re looking for a motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in various roles in secondary schools across the Wirral.

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) you will be responsible for providing educational support to individuals and small groups of pupils. You will monitor their progress in reaching their goals and objectives whilst keeping them engaged and challenged.

Through this role you’re able to make a real difference to lives of children and young adults. Academics are committed to finding talented people and finding them rewarding roles where they are able to thrive!

As a Learning Support Assistant you will need:

* Prior experience of working with children and/or young adults
* A positive can-do attitude
* To have a flexible approach and be able to adapt quickly when things change
* Patience and a nurturing approach
* An enhanced DBS check or be willing to get one (cost applied)
