Teaching Assistant needed for a Pupil Referral Unit in Southall!

The Role: As a Teaching Assistant in a PRU in Southall, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping to create a positive and enriching learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, catering to their individual learning needs.
* Assisting with classroom activities, including lesson preparation and implementation.
* Supporting students with their emotional and social development, fostering a sense of belonging and self-confidence.
* Collaborating with the teaching staff and other professionals to develop personalized learning plans for students.

Requirements as a Teaching Assistant in Southall:

* Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey of every student.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our students and school community.
* A commitment to working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, to provide consistent support to the students.
