If so Academics have an exciting opportunity to join our cohort of unqualified teachers / cover supervisors to work within our client secondary schools across the Wirral.
As an Unqualified Teacher with Academics you will have the opportunity for flexible supply work within a variety of secondary schools across the Wirral. You will be responsible for providing class cover in the absence of the usual class teacher.
As an Unqualified Teacher you will also be required to:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a positive learning environment
* Manage classroom behaviour and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity
* Providing support to students with their learning and educational activities
* Collaborating with teaching staff and following lesson plans
* Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress and achievements
* Managing the classroom behaviour following the schools policies and procedures.
The successful Unqualified Teacher will need:
* To be degree qualified or hold a Teaching Assistant qualification OR have experience working with and supporting children and/or young adults
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for education and a desire to make an impact on young people’s lives
* To have a flexible and adaptable approach to work in various school settings
* The ability to manage and motivate students effectively
* Enthusiasm, resilience and a positive attitude towards teaching and learning
