Position: PMLD Lecturer
Location: Sutton SEN College, Sutton
Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday – Thursday

Key Responsibilities as a PMLD Lecturer:

* Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to students with PMLD, ensuring each individual's learning needs are met.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Utilise a range of teaching strategies and assistive technologies to support student learning and communication.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other external agencies.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting independence and social interaction.

Requirements as a PMLD Lecturer:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
* Proven experience working with students with PMLD, preferably within a SEN educational setting.
* Strong understanding of the specific challenges and needs associated with PMLD.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
