Luke Malin Academics is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Crawley. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and challenge students through dynamic and high-quality science lessons.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for science among students. Depending on experience and subject expertise, there may also be opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 (A-Level).

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic science lessons that engage and challenge students.
* Teach across the secondary curriculum, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics as required.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure attainment and achievement.
* Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
* Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.

Essential Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Science or a related subject.
* Experience teaching science at secondary level in the UK (KS3 & KS4; KS5 desirable).
* Strong classroom management skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

* Experience teaching A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
* Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
* Experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students.
