Are you patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting children in their education? We are looking for a dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join our team in Knowle, Bristol. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment, helping students stay focused, motivated, and confident in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to students in the classroom, assisting with learning activities and ensuring they stay engaged.
* Offer one-to-one or small group support when needed, helping to reinforce lesson content.
* Encourage positive behaviour and support children in developing their confidence and independence.
* Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of learning materials, and general administrative tasks.
* Supervise students during break times and other school activities to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
* Work closely with teachers and other staff to foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will collaborate with support staff and teachers to ensure optimal learning outcomes for all pupils.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
* Skills: Patient, adaptable, and confident in engaging with students of different abilities.
* Teamwork: Able to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff to support students’ learning.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to encourage and motivate children.
* Location: Within a reasonable distance of Knowle or willing to relocate.
